We follow them as they create their masterpieces, then bravely submit them for consideration at the Filmdance Festival, in Park City, Utah, sometime in mid-January. Not only are these directors competing against each other, they also wind up living in the same condo, spending every waking minute trying to navigate through the dynamics of this tense situation and through the streets of Park City and the festival, seeking exposure and validation for their respective idioms. The transformative power of homemade pie is explored in"Pie." In "Kick Ass Jesus" Christ is back and he's pissed. "The Capture and the Chase" chronicles three super heroes fighting insurance fraud. "Shocking: The End of 4Eva," is about the beginning and end of a boy band. And "Motorcade of Love" where a filmmaker looks for love while pondering the assassination of John F. Kennedy. This film is a satire on the independent film festival phenomenon,documentaries and reality television. "Filmdance" is a fun look at co-dependent filmmaking.
